For those of you who know me, my humor can range on the sarcastic side with a dash of “blue” and a side order of “black/dark”. Fortunately, the group I work with now all have the same sense of humor. Below is a photo of an Easter bunny brought in by a coworker to share his candy. Of course, it’s an eviscerated bunny, complete with incision wounds and dead eyes. You reach into his entrails for a nice Kit Kat or other chocolate. Mmm, this bunny gave his life so we could have a chocolate high.

I don’t recall ever signing up for any Asian website, but check out a screenshot of my spam folder for one of my Gmail accounts. With emails in Mandarin (or Japanese or Korean - who knows), I can’t even tell if a Nigerian prince needs my help or if there’s an opportunity to increase my sperm by 538% (an actual email title I once saw).

This is the time of year where Atlanta pays the price for having so many beautiful trees. Pollen counts are so high at this time of year that is coats the entire area with a yellow film. For those up north who haven’t witnessed this, consider a layer of yellow dust slightly more than a light dusting of flurries and that's the amount that accumulates each day. Cars are caked in this filth and it’s not worth even washing your car in the 3 weeks or so of this particle bombardment.

Last week was one of those not-so-great weeks where work was a challenge and there were other peripheral issues going on that I won’t bore you with which made we want to get to this week ASAP and start all over again. As much as the aforementioned crap was on my mind, the biggest concern was when Megan fell down a few stairs two Sundays ago. She’s always had a chronically bad back but this last misstep really debilitated her for a while.

When I reviewed my Blackberry Pearl, I made the offhand comment that the camera was something I could care less about. While it’s still not a “must have” for me on any phone, I will gladly admit it’s really come in handy on quite a few occasions. Whether it was the MARTA train on top of a truck in front of me on the highway or a hockey linesman

Last month I mentioned the horny names of certain beers made by Sweetwater Brewing here in Atlanta. Well, Happy Ending Imperial Stout is now in bottles. I applaud their ballsiness, but I wonder how in the heck they got away with putting this description on the bottle. “Happy Ending is a huge dry hopped stiffy, for a full figured beer resulting in an ...

Well, my jerkoff neighbor (see 10/5, 10/6, 10/10, and 2/14 blogs for all related entries) put his house for sale yesterday. He must be moving for 1 of 2 reasons.
1 – His wife is pregnant with their second child so they need to move to a larger house.

Like all of our "All Hands Meetings" at work, our overseas offices dial in to a conference call number. This also includes the local employees who are working remotely. Long story short – we were called into an impromptu company-wide meeting today. The news was that our CEO had left for another venture. The person giving the news was the CFO who has now also added the CEO title to his job description (with approval from the Board of Directors last week). He didn’t identify himself when the meeting began to the phone listeners; therefore, after he had given a 1 ...
