I’m not sure if this story became a nationwide item last week, but they arrested a “madame” and one of her business associates for allegedly running a prostitution ring out of their million dollar mansion.  She was a former Penthouse Pet who ran a high class escort service.  For those of you who don’t know, Sugarloaf Country Club is a very nice gated community that is host to the BellSouth Classic (now the AT&T Classic), which is the tournament held the week before the Masters in Augusta.  The houses are all gigantic and lots of Atlanta sports stars and other famous personalities live there.

Here’s the part that floors me.  While I truly have no clue of what the going rate is for a high-priced escort, I would tend to think that anything over $1,000 should be one hell of an evening.  Supposedly this place charged $5,000 to $10,000 for an evening of decadence!!! For that amount of money there better be an oversized bowl of blow and a never-ending bent-over conga line of pantyless sorority girls whacked out on Ecstasy.

The authorities are also in possession of a client list of this lady so I’m sure there are a lot of people in high places who are sweating profusely right now.  I wonder if any of her male neighbors, who previously had no clue what she did in her house, are kicking themselves for not getting into that action while the getting was good.  Anyone who lives at Sugarloaf was definitely able to afford a 10K night of whoring and other assorted debauchery.

And has anyone seen Charlie Sheen in the metro area in the past year or so?
