I don’t recall ever signing up for any Asian website, but check out a screenshot of my spam folder for one of my Gmail accounts.  With emails in Mandarin (or Japanese or Korean - who knows), I can’t even tell if a Nigerian prince needs my help or if there’s an opportunity to increase my sperm by 538% (an actual email title I once saw).

Dahling - that is Chinese. The same characters are used whether or not it's a different dialect or not - Mandarin/Cantonese/Shanghaiese and others all are writen using the same characters. Same as for example - in the US the southern dialects (or folks in Boston) use the same alphabet, but it sounds different.

The Korean language is not this complex the characters are much more simple and it has many more examples of rounded characters (and fewer strokes withint the characters), Japanese is the easiest -looking- of all. Almost looks western.
