We had an afternoon party last Friday at a coworker’s house that was company-sponsored. Not only was the place perfect for entertaining (pool in the backyard, ping pong table, pool table, darts, card table) but the room that had the pool table had a bunch of characters from the Dr. Seuss books mounted on the wall as though they were hunting trophies.

After a 9 month hiatus from brewing, the Greater Decatur Flavor Invador announces that Pale Blue Scot Ale is ready for consumption for my Atlanta area friends. This American-style ale was brewed with Willamette and Northern Brewer hops and then dry-hopped with Amarillo hops but, while bitter from the additional hop process, is not a hop bomb. It has a cloudy complexion like a hefeweizen but most certainly is a balanced pale ale.
I found a website that could make stickers for my beer bottles but instead of actually buying the labels, I just made a screenshot of two that I made in less than five minutes. The first is more classic looking while the second is more lighthearted. The background neon should be a dead giveaway as to where I was when that picture was snapped.
