Today’s cameraphone photo is brought to you by the letter "D", which stands for Doyouthinkthisdudepoundstheshitoutofhiswifeandkids?

Part of what was painted on this truck is blocked so here is this dude’s wisdom displayed in acrylic oil paint for all to enjoy and nod their head in agreement with his down home folksiness.

I thank Momma for her Cookin’

And Daddy for his Woopin!

Note the kickass dough roller / wife beatin’ apparatus next to the phrase. I’m not sure what the bottom right image is. It could be a kid bent over about to be whooped. It could be a tooth, representing one that got knocked out when Daddy went on a drunken rampage after Dale Sr. lost at Talladega.

That looks like a rolling pin and a tooth.

I wonder if he uses the rolling pin to knock out teeth.

*shudder*

I gotta disagree with your take on this one, Cap'n. Those are lyrics from a great country song by Sawyer Brown - "Thank God for You" - though I see how you could draw these conclusions when it's taken out of context.

Ya know, I almost mentioned that this might have been some country song that I had no idea about. I guess the question is, General, did you know that before or after you moved to TN?

Always been a country fan, James. There are Yankee rednecks everywhere.

Yes - at least the kids. You have to admit that song lyrics often reflect reality! He's only one of the many men who a few years ago had his little woman shave his back hair off into the number 3. In a few weeks they'll mourn the loss of the traditional number 8 racer - he is becoming 88 next year for those of you not 'in the (NASCAR) know'... Damn mothers-in-law complaint? An instant classic.

P.S. Hi, glad you're home - dinner is on the table. [It had damn well better be.]
