This week has been quite the visual medium on the blog and today is no exception (tomorrow too). First, I got my oil changed at a Jiffy Lube last Sunday, a place I’ve never gone to before. I had noticed some new drops of oil on my garage floor but wasn’t sure if they were from before or after my visit there. Just to put my mind at ease, I popped the hood yesterday morning to make sure I wasn’t low on oil from a leak or something. To my surprise, I found a little present inside. Whoever changed my oil filter left the ratchet wrench/filter remover device on my battery!!! Thankfully the oil level was still full and when I returned to Jiffy Lube to tell them what happened, they were extremely grateful for returning the wrench and also were quite apologetic. I got a coupon book chock full of discounts and while I doubt I’ll return there, at least they tried to make me satisfied.
Here’s the implement left inside my engine that I drove around with for 2 days.

| Dangit. I would've loved that to help me work on my Triumph. Can't get to my motorcycle's oil filter for anything ... |

| Milo, I had avoided them as long as I could. This was a case where I absolutely needed my oil changed and couldn't wait any longer to go to the place I normally do due to my schedule. Hopefully I won't pay for that decision in the long run. |

| Jimbo, why do you think they call it Jiffy Lube?
Clearly you did not think this important automobile service through.
This is totally out of character for you. |

| TSAC, I agree wholeheartedly. To quote the marginally talented Nic Cage in 'Honeymoon in Vegas' - "I KNOWTHATNOW!!!!!" |

| Yeah - those 10 Minute Oil Changers guys are much better (keep in mind I don't have a car).....................................................................I'd keep any tool gifts I graciously received without asking. A woman cannot have enough tools on her belt. |
