So, would this be a bad time to mention that the company I work at was just named one of the top 1500 fastest growing companies by Inc.?

Were the laid off individuals escorted to the front door to make sure they didn't take their weight in office supplies with them?

Yeah, it's the usual layoff procedure. Put the "survivors" in one room and the "doomed" in another. Then they keep us in the room and give the usual blahblahblah until the departed have gathered up their belongings.

And yes, it is a cube farm hell. I do kind of miss our 22nd floor view from last year. Then again, I'll take the 2nd floor if it means staying employed.

Next time they should set up pins for the fallen and you all can bowl them over on your way back to the populated areas. You know those cube walls can be happy or sad, and right now that is one sad corner/walkway. Wonder why didn't they do it on the more traditional day of the week - Friday and send you all home? Anyway now it's more like happy freakin' Friday, good to see you still here.

Heard the Dekalb County Sheriff's Department is hiring! Government worker's favorite saying: "I'm from the government, I'm here to help you". Hopefully you've never been arrested, recently that is, and you're in!!!!!! Get you application now, James.
