For those of you who went to Bradley around the same time frame as I did, I have very sad news. A truly good friend of mine - Susan Dallas - passed away in her home last night. She is survived by her husband Chris and son Evan.
I'll write more about her when I can compose my thoughts. For now, please keep Chris and Evan in your thoughts as they traverse through this extremely difficult time.

Thanks, James. I just found out myself. I'm in total shock. I remember meeting Susan the very first week she was on campus- Matt brought her over my place in SAC when I first met her.

| Susan was such a loving and caring friend for all that knew her...she was always smiling. I felt terrible for her when both her Mom and Dad passed both very young.

My thoughts are with Chris, Evan, and Susan's brother. I can't imagine their grief but know we need to be there for Chris and keep him strong for being Evan's daddy. |

I don't know how Chris and Evan are going to get through this. At least they have wonderful friends that will be there for them. I am going to miss Susan so much.

I am in shock. I had just talked to her about meeting them when I was in CHI in two weeks. She'd just added me to facebook 2 days ago....damn. You'll never meet someone nicer and who genuinely cared about how other people were doing more than her. I'll miss her smile and caring nature. All my love to Chris and Evan. I also want to let all of you know how much I love and care for you as well. Too often we miss the opportunity to say that to the ones we love before they are gone....

That is terrible news. Her name doesn't sound familiar to me, however...everything from that time was a blur.

I don't think I knew Susan (must have been after my time there). But I certainly know Chris and I feel terrible for him. What a shocking tragedy. My thoughts are with him.

Yes, Chris was a Delt and Susan was in Alpha Chi Omega. Chris lived on Heitz 4 the same year I was on the first floor (1990).

They are very lucky to have each of you as 'friends'. My prayers are with this family. Thank you for sharing.

Erik and I were shocked to hear the news about Susan. Although we haven't been in touch for a few years, our friends from college are often in our thoughts. I could kick myself for not trying harder to keep up with everyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris and Evan.
